What are your Office Hours?
7:30 AM- 11 PM. We always have someone on duty though after hours for emergencies, either ring the night bell or call 253-0142.
What is your deposit policy?
A guest's deposit will be refunded if notification of cancellation is received 7 days for regular rooms during regular season, 14 days for fireplace efficiencies, 30 days for holidays, 30 days for apartments and suites, 60 days for houses) prior to the date of arrival. This deposit will be forfeited if your party arrives after the date specified or departs before the final day of the reservation. We will refund your deposit if the accommodations are re-rented. This policy has been standardized in the area for the mutual benefit of guests and innkeepers.
We suggest you consider travel insurance (such as Travel Guard) to cover any losses incurred if unforeseen circumstances force you to alter your travel plans.
How do you take payments?
A deposit of 1-2 nights for rooms during regular season (or 50% for holidays, suites, apartments & houses) is due upon booking. The balance of the bill is due upon arrival. We gladly accept Visa, MC, Discover, American Express, traveler's checks and cash for payment.
Do you allow pets?
There are only a few select rooms on our property that allow a pet. Thus, it is mandatory for you to tell us upon making the reservation if you plan to bring a pet. There is a daily $12 pet charge plus tax. We welcome a well behaved pet under the following guidelines: only one pet per room is allowed; A dog must be kept on a leash outside; it cannot disturb other guests; a pet can never be left alone in the room unless in a kennel (and a number where you can be reached) and never be left alone if it barks.
What is your smoking policy?
Since April 1, 2006, all of our units have been smoke free. Guests may smoke outside of their room however. A minimum $200 fine will be charged for smoking in a room.
Does my room include continental breakfast?
All of our motel rooms, suites and apartments include the hearty continental breakfast. Our continental breakfast offers coffee, tea, juice, cereals, yogurts, toast, and pastries. For guests staying in a house, there is a nominal charge to have the continental breakfast.
What is the time for the continental breakfast?
During regular and peak season, breakfast is 7:30 AM-10 AM. During low season, it is 8 AM-10 AM.
What type of room ammenities do your rooms have?
All of our rooms have the standard ammenities such as hairdryers, shampoos, lotion, soap, kleenex and towels. Our efficiency units also have irons, ironing boards and microwaves. These items can be requested in any of our rooms however at no additional charge.
How far are you from Stowe Mountain Resort?
We are only about 4 1/2 -5 miles from Stowe Mountain Resort.
How far are you from Stowe Village?
We are 2 miles from Stowe Village.
Why is there a range on your rate sheet?
In most cases, the midweek rate is the lower rate and the weekend rate (Friday & Saturday nights) is the higher rate. There are a few exceptions on holiday weekends such as Columbus Day and Labor Day weekend, in which the sunday night is also the higher rate.
How many bikes do you have?
We have a fleet of 32 mountain bikes, in a variety of sizes. We also have a dozen or so children bikes.
How far are you from the Stowe Recreation Path?
We are only a few hundred yards from Stowe Recreation path.
When are your pools open?
From mid May through mid September, we have at least one of our two pools heated. During the busier summer months of July and August, both pools are heated.
Is your outdoor hot tub open in the winter?
Yes, our outdoor hot tub is open year around, 10 AM- 9 PM.
What is the minimum age to reserve at the Stowe Motel & Snowdrift?
To rent a room, the minimum age is 18 years old. To rent a house, the minimum age is 25 years old.
